Kyle is the founder and CEO of Bot Fox, a system that gives you the tools to generate unlimited leads from Facebook groups. In this episode, Kyle shares with us how he got started in the realm of virtual wholesaling and how he can help interested people in doing the same.
Kyle has been in the wholesale business for four years. Prior to getting into real estate, he worked in direct sales, going door-to-door for DIRECTV and other companies. He wanted to make more money than he was making at the time, so he began researching various sorts of sales, which led him to real estate.
In the beginning, he worked as an acquisition manager. It was during this time that he discovered the power of Facebook groups. After realizing how successful marketing in Facebook groups is, he decided to start building his own company.
Posting in Facebook groups gave him access to hundreds of thousands of people without spending a dime versus spending thousands of dollars on paid advertising on the site. After a while, he found himself catering outside of their local area since, after all, he had access to both sides of the market, consumers, and sellers, which simplified the process. It wasn’t long before he discovered how high his postings’ engagement rates were and how efficient his technique was, so he decided to go all-in on virtual wholesaling.
The type of Facebook groups they utilize are the local community-based groups, not real estate investing groups per se. You can see these groups by simply typing in your city name or the keyword for your city. The bulletin board groups and community groups that will pop out are the exact ones that they use.
Kyle said that real estate investing groups and cash buyer groups are perfect for this. You can post your business there and you’ll get tons of replies. As for setting up appointments, they meet through virtual conferencing platforms.
Bot Fox has a non-compete agreement. The workers sign a contract that prohibits them from using the company’s method as their own. But, because Kyle frequently shares his method publicly, he said that he won’t be shocked if he starts seeing his method adopted by his listeners. He is not worried if people start copying him; instead, he sees this as an opportunity to inspire people to work with him after witnessing how effective his method is.
In their inner circle program, they recruit and train teams for their clients. They do group interviews to get the teams excited to do their jobs and they also train appointment setters.
Kyle has a Facebook group called, “Group Marketing Real Estate Investing Leads,” which is now approaching 7,000 members. It’s an active community filled with all types of people including a number of seasoned investors. He offers free courses and training on a weekly basis. He also shares pictures and videos of his travels there.
